The Bantam e-STATION BC6 is a mircoprocessor controlled high-performance rapid charger/discharge for NiCd/NiMH/LiPo/Pb batteries with an integrated cell voltage balancer. It supports dual input power (AC/DC), has a USB PC Link, temperature sensors and an integrated Lithium battery balancer. It has a charge current up to 5A, a discharge current up to 1A.
Optimised Operating Software - When charging or discharging, the BC6 has an 'AUTO' function that sets the feeding current or the cell count of Lithium battery automatically. For Lithium batteries, it can also prevent over-charging which could otherwise lead to explosion. Every program in the unit is controlled with mutual links and communication for every possible error so it introduces maximum safety.
Dual Input Power - The BC6 employs a circuit that can operate with either a AC or DC input power. For the AC input, it contains a AC-DC switching power supplier which has 5A of power capacity and a maximum power output of 50 Watts for charging. As a result it can charge up to a 6 Cell LiPo in Series with a maximum current of 5.0A.
Individual Voltage Balancer for Lithium Batteries Inside - The BC6 has an individual-cell-voltage balancer inside so it does not need any other balancer for charging Lithium batteries for cell voltage balancing.
Balance Individual Cells on Discharge - The BC6 can also monitor and balance individual cells of a Lithium battery pack during the discharge process. If the voltage of any one cell varies abnormally, the whole process will be stopped with an error message on screen.
Lithium 'Fast/Storage' Mode Charge - You can charge Lithium Batteries for special purposes. 'Fast' charge reduces the charging time of Lithium battery and 'Storage mode controls the final voltage of battery to suit for long time storage.
Battery Data Store/Load - For users convenience it can store a maximum of 10 batteries data. You can set a program for the battery to be charged or discharged continually. This program then be called easily time and time again.
Cyclic Charging/Discharging - Performs 1 to 5 cycles of charge-discharge or discharge-charge continually for battery refreshing and balancing.
